yeah mine did that too, this year you cant find a replacement spool anywhere on the planet, even black and decker .co.uk dont have no mention on the site for this peice of garbage. they all missfunctioned and have been pulled out of circulation. where do we get our money back??????

it should have an arrow pointing the way to wind the wire on, normally clockwise. If that dont work try anti-clockwise.
