My laptop won't shutdown ?

Most of the time my laptop won't shutdown until I unplug it and take out the battery.

Hi Charlie, Don`t know if you have sorted your pc out yet but one other way to shut down is to keep the power button depressed for about 10-20 seconds or longer and this normally works but its not the ideal situation for turning off your pc
