How to fix Hyundai monitor - model HYD-W240?

Hi.
My monitor is not working and is passed it's warranty period so I'm looking to fix it myself but need help to identify the issue.

When I connect it to any computer, the desktop appears correctly for a brief second and then the screen goes black. The power light remains on showing that the monitor is recieving a signal - which I have confirmed by removing the connection to the pc at which point the monitor goes into standby mode.
On reconnecting the pc the screen displays again for a moment and then goes back to black.

I've opened the unit up and there does not appear to be any obvious burning from overheated components.

I've eliminated a dodgy cable connection as the monitor has multiple connections options - dvi, vga, hdmi etc... and the same issue occurs with each of them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
cheers
