My Russell Hobbs steam iron generator iron is just making a noise but no steam comes out, can anyone help please.

I'm having the same problem and its only 2 years old.
Have changed the filter makes no odds.
I blew down the little hole where the water reservoir sits and it the steam came out. Did this whilst it was
switched off. The steam came out great, but now
its back to not having steam unless I fill the actual iron.
