brakes locking up when in reverse?

what is the reason and how do i stop my brakes from locking when im reversing? ...the car ia a clio 2004 1.4
brakes are fine till i need to reverse out of drive and then they just lock up... anyone know why or had same problem ??

rear or front? if rear- could be broken brake shoe return spring or lining detached from brake shoe,if front- calliper fixing pins to carrier one missing causing calliper to foul inside of wheel.?
