stuck in gear?

My Honda 4 wheeler is stuck in reverse gear and will not start. the first gear light is blinking 3 times what that mean and what do i have to do to fix it?

the blinking sequence is more then likley a fault code so i would contact a quad dealer or a honda dealer and ask them what it means.
