Can you solve my BUSH TV 42" Plasma scart problem?

Hello,
Please help. I bought a 42" BUSH Plasma TV from Argos only three weeks ago. It has been working great until I got back from work three days ago to realise that my two year old daughter had been tugging at the scart plug connected to the TV. The wire is damaged but the adaptor itself seems intact. However, I cannot release the adaptor from the TV. The adaptor which attaches to the TV is not the regular large scart plug, it is a small unit about the same size as a USB plug. My question is how can I release this adaptor from the TV. Just pulling at it as you would do with a USB has not worked. Please help.

Hi.
The plastic casing suronding the smaller end of the scart adaptor (the part that plugs into the TV) has a plastic bit you can press in and it releases it from the tv, if this does not work you can remove the plastic casing by unclipping it and you will see two small square bits of metal attached to the metal 'plug' part of the scart adaptor, these can be pushed in to release it (i suggest you use a screwdriver or something to do this, if you try to push them in by hand you will probably end up with a bleeding finger .........trust me!)

Hope this helps
