singer cg 500 needle hitting plate under bobbin?

my needle keeps hitting the turning plate under the bobbin. it is about 1/16 to 1/8 in. off of going into the holes like it should. how can I fix this?

You need to retime the machine, if you email me by typing my address as you say it not as you see it I will attach instructions.
