F Secure Online Scan says i have 6 infected files - i cannot find them. I have enabled the show hidden files option in control panel>folder options, i still can't find anything. I deleted some of them before but presumably they haven't gone????

(i deleted tripdont[1].exe and bobby[1] before)

I'd really appreciate it if you could help i'm very frustrated.

Sorry, i did the Ccleaner scan ok - it has got rid of some troublesome stuff.

Thanks that was very helpful. The only other problem i have i am currentlly aware of is a worm detected by XOFTSPY's free scan. It says i have the following worm

Bat\Mumu-A Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run\nwiz

How do i get rid of this??????

Spybot S and D is blocking the download of cc cleaner, i don't suppose you can tell me how to stop it blocking it....

I think your problem is the Internet Explorer makes it quite difficult to delete some of the files it uses. There is a free utility here which might do it .... http://www.ccleaner.com/
