there are 2 ways depending on model
if you remove theplastic cover off the bottom of the machine at the front there might be a filter to the right close to the corner it will be black or white in colour the filter will open by turning it to the left do not force it if it sticks turn it rightand then back
the other way will be from the back take the grey hose that is comming fro the bottom and lay it into a small container not a bucket that is to high or put the hose flat on the ground out a door
