acoustic solutions lcd tv screen problems?

Hi, acoustic solutions lcd tv 28", around a year old. On turning on, no immediate picture then the screen is split in to 3 vertical strips, then about 20mins after...wheyhey a picture appears! Any ideas that wont cost a fortune? Please help....
