My lexsor 27" TV 27W18S picture keeps going off, i've been told due to overheating and cant be repaired. once I have turned the tv off for a couple of minutes then turn it back on, the picture returns. Can anyone help me? I have a portable fan blowing on to the tv which seems to stop the tv tripping, can the tripper be replaced?

You most probably have a dry joint somewhere. When the circuit gets hot it expands the boards. breaking the joint.
