Sony SLV D-100 VHS tape player won't eject tape so how do I get tape out??
Inserted tape as normal. Pushed PLAY button. Immediately, shows no sign of attempting to play, but indicates EJECT with not mechanical ejection, then unit indicates OFF. Tried numerous times. Same action with no mechanical sounds of any type taking place. How the heck do I remove the tape without damaging the unit? No service tech within 50-100 miles here.
