engine diognostics light?

i recently purchased a peugeot 206 (2004) 1100cc, when i viewed it the engine diognostics warning light was on, the light was removed and i collected the car. 3 week later the light is back on but the car seems fine, how can i remove this light and should i be worried it was on in the first place?

If it was me I'd want to know what fault is showing. You'll need to get the fault read to find out. The early 1100 models used to spike their catalytic converters because of misfiring problems and there were recalls to replace ignition coil pack, leads and spark plugs.
