How to replace pull cord on Bolens BL110 trimmer?

How do I take apart a Bolens BL110 gas trimmer to get at the pull cord spindle? Pull cord snapped and need to replace it but cannot get to the spindle. Have taken the trimmer apart as much as I can see but still cannot access pull cord
