my machine turns on all the lights go on and then the light starts racing accross the top row of lights going back and forth and then stops on the short wash light and starts blinking

It has somehow got into the special eye catching demo mode used in shop displays. Try switching power off at wall and remove wall plug for a few minutes then power back up. If still the same result then either the display board or the main control board will be faulty & have to be replaced.
