there are two pieces of modem software you should NEVER load onto your PC because you will NEVER get them off_ One is Freeserve software and the other is AOL_
Modem software installs to up to eight areas of your PC. Only the human interface is installed to the hard-drive_ so when you uninstall only one small part of the software disappears. The answer to your question is_ i'm afraid_ get a new motherboard_ and don't make the mistake of installing AOL ever again!
