How do i remove the seat and top of my Thetford cassette toilet?

I need to gain access to the rubber bung that the cable passes through to the pump as it has come out and the fluid leaks everywhere. How do i remove the seat and top of the toilet to get access to this area, i have tried from the toilet roll access and from underneath where the cassette fits, however, it is inaccessable from these areas??
