Hi, I have an electrolux 3 way fridge in my 2002 caravan. Left the door open when not in use and gave it a good clean before using. When I switched it on (mains) after it got cold there is a smell coming from inside. Anyone know the reason?

Smell is difficult to describe. It is not a chemical smell, more a bad food smell, even though I have thoroughly cleaned out the fridge.

Hi, you say "smell", but do not describe whether it is a chemical type smell or not... My best guess is that the coolant is leaking out of the system, in which case it could be time to get a new fridge...sorry...
