Recently my DVDR 3506 has begun shredding the paper layer on DVDs turning it into a fine white dust which clogs the player and stops the disc. The machine stopped recording also. I can see that the DVDs are cut about 2-3 mm wide at a location about 5 mm from the outside edge. I have cleaned it several times. It plays for awhile (no recording) then clogs up again. I cannot figure out what is cutting the DVDs. Any suggestions? I would love to send the unit out to be fixed but cannot find a place to send it.
