HD not working in LG TV?

Black screen when on Sky HD+. Works ok when using scart, although obviously not in HD. Sky technician says it is the TV's HD sockets.

Hi,try connecting the Sky receiver to the tv with a different set of hd inputs,like componet or hdmi. It could be the Sky receiver is defective.Also try a different hdtv,if you have one to check the hd signal that is coming out .
