packard bell i connect 1275 model?

I have a 866 processor (intel celeron) can I change this for a 2.6ghz intel processor ?computer is a packard bell i connect 1275 model. i have bought heat sink fan for upgrade, just not sure if 2.6ghz is too much for my
system.

I don't know for certain, but I doubt it very much. My experience of working on Packard Bell PC's is that they are not the most flexible in the world:

I certainly wouldn't invest in a new processor unless I had some certainty it's going to work. PC World distribute them and have in-store advice centres - you may wish to ask there.
