how do i change the pump thetford cassette toilet c-402?

i have done all the neccessery tests required and proven that the pump for the toilet needs replacing, i just cant find it, there is no toilet rll holder in a panel where i was told it will be behind, so just need to find out where the pump is!

Thanks Gary and others- sorted mine out the same way. a bit of a tight squeeze but managed to extract the pump and pipe despite my big fat fingers!. I used a tiny screwdriver to free the tiny fan on the end of the pump - did the trick. I squirted a bit of mouldew / bleach remover on the fan before replacing the pump in the tank. I also ran loads of water through the system to clean out any remaining bits of gunk that had obviously found their way in! Saved me taking my motorhome 'Priscilla' to a service place who would have probably charged for a new pump and a couple of hours labour for the privilege! Goo luck fellow motorhomers!

Spinning the little fan on the bottom worked perfect! That seemed to loosen it up and it runs again. Thanks!

the pump is located under the control panel. it sits in the holding tank for the flush water. you'll feel a stiff hose about 3/4" in diameter. its at the end of that hose. you'll think youre going to break something but it will bend out thru the control panel hole.

go to the Thetford website and click on spares /spare parts. They have exploded diagrams for all their cassettes and units so you can identify the part you want. In your case it will give you an idea of how to get at the pump.
