stopped spinning!?

my hotpoint wm 52 has stopped all spin cycles, it's 7 yrs old, just fills & empties, any point in a repair?

hi well worth it as the problem is easy and cheap to carry out
this machine has a top motor (located on the top of the drum)
take the lid off remove the motor(WITH POWER OFF)
remove and replace the motor brushes anymore probs msdapudsey1@msn.com
