washing machine?

I have a fisher & paykel washing machine, model number gw712. pressing the power button does not turn the machine on. power point is working ok and have tried turning the power of for 60 seconds, still no go.

When I turn my fisher and paykel 608 top loader on all the lights on the board turn on but when i push start nothing happens?

If it does not power up either the main control board has died or the drain pump is faulty.
