How can I fix cracking in the B-pillars ?

I have small cracks in the paint of both B-pillars on a 1997 1.2 merit vauxhall corsa how can this be corrected

this is not an unsual problem.sons car had it.we had to get it MIG welded and the pillar resprayed.
