snapper self propelled rolls 6" then locks up, lifted,it posi's?
I have a 91 snapper self prop mower. It was sitting for a while.
I try to roll it, (not started) and it acts like the differential is stuck . it only rolls back and forth about 6" lock to lock...
I believe those units have a disk drive, it is probably not releasing. Check your adjustment and your bearings. The drive wheel should be adjusted approximatly 1/16 of an inch above the disk. Good luck.
