how to fix rapid flashing rear indicator citroen picasso?

when ignition is turned on,all indicators fine,but when you start the engine the rear off side flashes fast and dimish,i have changed all the indicator bulbs etc,still no joy,can anybody help please.

remove the indicator unit and give the metal fixings a good clean.It is probably an earthing problem.
