my peugeot speedfight 2 has an intermittent spark????

i have a peugeot speedfight 2 '03 model, i have just replaced the battery, oil pump, and spark plug.
i have the engine turning but not firing up fuel is getting to the carb and i have notice that the plug only has an intermittent spark, im just learning about bikes so i would appreciate any suggestions.
