JCD 3CX black cab hard to engage forward drive?

my jcb 3cx is hard to get into forward drive.it is fine in reverse but does not want to go into farward and you have to rev it a lot before it will go forward. any ideas ?

Forward clutch pack worn out. Transmission has to be removed for the friction and counter plates to be replaced.
