why does my glowplug warning light stay on after the motor is going in mercedes vito 1999 108cdi

at least 1 glow plug has failed. pull the big plug off the glow plug relay, behind the left headlamp. get a piece of wire, and flash it from the battery positive to all 4 plug connectors. the one that doesnt spark has failed. there are small numbers on the plug telling you which one relates. they are numbered from front to back.

Its telling you a fault is logged in the engine management.need a scan to see what's wrong.Just check ALL your lights/indicators/brake lights work OK
