hotpoint first edition 1200 spin WMA 11 - Drum not emptying?

Hi,

I have a problem with my washing machine in that it does not drain the water in the drum when on a wash. I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions on to what the problem may be and how to fix it?

There is something blocking the pump empellar from turning. Try removing the large hose from the pump usally held on with a simple spring clip.
