How long to fit a electric steering column? on a Renault Scenic2 2004 1.9dc?

Hi can anyone help my car was a non starter yesterday. Had to call RAC to recover ends up I need a electric steering column cost new £1100 no way am getting a 2nd hand one 3 months warranty £120 can anyone tell me how long will garage will take to fit
