how to tensio drum belt ?

Drum belt broke on my Zanussi ZDC46130W condenser tumble dryer. Bought new Zanussi belt for model but after placing it on the drum and then around the spindle attaching to the motor am unable to get enough tension on the belt to drive the drum around.

you probably have the tensioner wheel on the wrong side of the belt.push the motor inwards as far as it will go.then fit the belt then let the motor go.just check the tension spring from the motor to the chassis is still attached
