someone help me on my sons piaggio nrg 50cc?

the temprature keeps flashing even when the scooters has been running for some time dont know if it is air cooled or liquid cooled it is on a 55 plate

liquid cooled . check water in radiator bottle. might need topping up. if it is not loosing water. then might be faulty thermostat switch on the cylinder head.if loosing water then could be head gasket needs replacing.
