Daf LF 45 produces a loud screeching sound when accelerating or going uphil?

I have a Daf LF 45 Lorry that is fitted with a speed governor limiting its speed to 85km/hr. It keeps giving out a loud screeching sound when going uphill or accelarating. what could be the problem? then there is the engine warning that just wont go away!.. kindly help.

I had this problem and it was the exhaust manifold gaskets

Thanx Norb. the screeching noise seems to be higher when the vehicle is on the fifth gear or at a lower gear going uphill. what do you recommend?

fan belt ,belt tensioner , intercooler pipes , intercooler , or turbo .can be any of them
