Has anybody out there experienced any screen faults with the above named Toshiba model. Mine appears as a clear split on the left side of the screen, rather like the split on the wide angle section of a modern car door mirror. Also, half of the screen disappears behind a solid block of colour when first powering on. However, this does correct itself after a few minutes of warming up. Please help.

Its a common fault on tosh/bush.There's a ribbon cable,known as the lead which connects to the y sustain board,.the lead is usually replaced or you could clean the conections and give them a light spray with silicone.
