gilera stalker wont start?

gilera stalker 50cc wont start.changed spark plug,cleaned carb out.no blockages.there is petrol.any ideas.

crank the engine over a few times on full throttle,take the plug out and see if the plugs wet.This will let you know whether the fuel is getting into the cylinder.Dry plug no fuel.Is the bike trying to start or is it totally dead.Is the engine watercooled on that model?

yes brand new.took it out and it sparks on the bodywork ok.also a new ht lead
