Took off the hose between the drum housing and the pump to get rid of the build up of smelly gunge. Inside the hose at the drum housing there is a washer and plastic ball. Stupidly I didn't make a not of which way round they go. Any help appreciated.
you can even forget about putting them back in again if you like as it works well enough either way, but if you want to replace its the ball first and the ring afterwards to stop it bouncing back up against the drum
