96 GMC van 1500?

Transmission is leaking fluid from the back where the drive shaft hooks to it . Is there a seal there that can be replaced with out dropping the trans? And what is the name of that seal?

Yea its called a tailshaft seal and will only have to pull driveshaft ....pop seal out and tap a new one in ........
