Peugeot 307 aircon blower fault?

I have a 52 Reg Peugeot 307. The heating/aircon fans have stopped working. I have changed the fuse etc. I don't really want to have to take it in to the garage. can anyone help?

inside your main air intake for the heater you will find a 5 or 6 pin plug connected to a set of resistors that control the speed of the blower motor. it has its own fuse built into the unit. it is only a twist fit into the air intake .twist and release the unit before disconnecting the plug
