Can anyone help got a transit t280 fwd 2nd and reverse were hard to get in. Went to put it in reverse without engine running and gear stick went all loose like a stick in a bucket now car.nt find any gear wat so ever this is a 51 plate

make sure the cables on top of the gearbox haven`t popped off,the vertical selector shaft on top of the selector mechanism on your g/box are bad for seizing where it goes through a needle roller bearing just under the oil seal that you see on the top of your g/box,this may be your original fault and usually have to take the selector mechanism off the g/box to free it off
