s reg 2.5 diesel transit bad starter?

very bad starting in cold weather,
engine turns over fast but struggles to start
once running will start instantly all day long.

remember having a couple of these with the same problem,they sounded ok turning over but the main battery lead down to the starter was faulty,think there were problems with the crimped joints.

Transits on this year dont have glow plugs get the red diesel out of it and it will be ok. YOU NAUGHTY BOY.
