I watch T.V. for a while and then, a loud popping noise followed by the picture going out and the t.v. shutting off. After i turn the t.v. off for a while and then turn it back on. It's o.k. for a little while longer. Please help with info. on fixing my Pioneer Elite.

bad soldering or fault in the HV section . do not nurse this along as you will damage the set more and make repair expensive. unless you have experience and are aware of the hv safety hazards involved in this work, get it to a tech.
