Under load my scooter dies but ticks over fine?

Any sugestions on how to fix a DB50QT-11 that ticks over fine but dies after 2 or 3 mins of riding.

check vacuum pipes to/from carb are connected properly and are not blocked, also check fuel pipe for kinks or blockage, that wiring is connected.
