Blue is fuzzy looking on my 52 inch magnavox projection tv?

I know there is a light under the color tubes inside the set.
The blue tube seems to have a slight cloudiness to it. Is there any thing I can do to remidy this other than buying a new tri color tube? the set is a 52 inch magnavox about 6 years old.

i am no expert but it sounds like the crt fluid in the blue tube has become contaminated and needs to be replaced. if you are somewhat mechanically inclined you can do it yourself. if you bring it to a shop they will charge at least a hundred bucks. i did a crt fluid replacement job on a magnavox fp5230 once and it came out looking great. if you want to be sure, go to allexperts.com in the tv/vcr repair section. ask the same question again.they have some great volunteers.these guys help me fix so many different problems i may open up my own shop soon. its a great site.usually get an answer the same day. good luck.
