How do you change the cmos battery on a compaq pressario v6025?if it means removing key pad,how?

YES you are correct,I was looking for a metal coloured battery but it was inside a black plastic cover,silly me,all fixed thanks.

are you suer that the cmos battery it not at the back, next were to were you put the memory cards, open the drapdoor at the back to check.
