The alarm on my ford transit connect beeps 20 times?

I have a 53 plate ford transit connect L200 TD 1.8
Every time I put my alarm on, it does the normal 2
Beeps and flashes the hazards! But after a few seconds
It beeps and flashes 20 times rapidly.
What could cause this?
