my TV keeps Switching on?

MY Samsung TV keeps switching itself on when iys on stand by and no one is in the room, I have tried leaving the TV un plugged so it re sets itself but its still the same when its turned back onto standby.

What could be the cause?

check in the menu list of the tv, for timer" it might be set to go into standby, or SLEEP" in 15 20 60 mins ect" if you find the timer in the menu list, set it to "OFF,
