Bad Pool Caller on XP reinstall?

I got the BSOD with Bad Pool Caller. I've backed up my hard drive and I'm ready for reinstall with my SP2 XP disc. I get to the 5th screen where I choose "1" and it goes right to BSOD.

I recently had a new processor and motherboard replaced (Since BSOD). I've run chdsk and a memory test and neither show anything.

I have a good feeling it's my memory cards, but I'm afraid to touch those and break some warranty with my manufacturer.

Suggestions? (I've got enough hardware knowledge to make me dangerous. Ask me how to use Excel or Word and I'm your girl! lol)

Make sure all peripheral hardware (especially USB!) is removed before fresh XP install - This includes printers, external modems etc. Add them back one at a time after you get XP up and running to find the culprit. Use MemTest86 http://www.memtest86.com/ to test your RAM. This error can also be indicative of a failing HDD (easy to replace). Good luck!
